French to English translations [Non-PRO]
French term or phrase:Fais tu du sport part les acrobaties en gymnastiques à l'école...je te taquinne
Fais tu du sport part les acrobaties en gymnastiques à l'cole...je te taquinne
What other sports do you do in gym class (phys ed) besides acrobatic gymnastics...I'm kidding you
First of all, I am not sure exactly what you are trying to say because "part" by itself has no meaning in the context. I believe that text should have read "a part" which means "besides". Also, "faire du sport" in French means "to play any sports". This is plural in English, singular in French. I disagree with Golub's translation of "faire du sport" > "some sport." We would never say that. It's quite awkward. I'm a native English speaker. It's plural in English.
Hope this helps
