saturated colours/colors, saturated hues
Explanation:
Whether in the field of physics or television, the GDT gives saturated hues. Outs of curiosity - and largely because "colours" sounded more likely to me, here is an indication from a quick GOOGLE search that colours can be used in the context of fabrics and TV.

Looks like you can choose. You might like to try a search for "saturated hues" to see what that gives.

saturated hues

Explanation:
Sounds more likely to be "saturated hues". Read on...

I ended up getting curious and wondered what a “saturated color” really was. Here is what I found. Note in particular the difference between “hue” and “color” according to the definitions provided on the second site.
SATURATION = the purity of a color
HUE = (what is normally referred to as color), it is a specific wavelength of light

I hope this helps you decide which of the two is appropriate to your context.

http://www.handprint.com/HP/WCL/color5.html
- Let's start by clarifying how color saturation and the underlying problem of saturation costs can be visualized with a color wheel.
- To use the color wheel for predicting the color that results from mixing paints (rather than light), we visualize the saturation in the same way: as a color becomes less saturated, the color moves closer to gray or black at the center of the wheel.
- To estimate the color product that results from mixing two colors in equal proportions, draw a mixing line that connects the two colors being mixed. The midpoint on this line approximately defines both the hue and saturation of the mixed color
§ The hue of the mixture is defined by the hue angle, a line drawn from the center of the wheel through the mixing midpoint to the circumference. The point where the line reaches the circumference is the approximate hue of the mixture.
§ The saturation of the mixture is the distance of the mixing midpoint from the center of the wheel: the closer the midpoint is to the center, the duller or grayer the mixture will be

A Workshop on Saturation

The third major descriptor of a color is saturation, also known as intensity. We looked at value and hue in the first two color workshops. A color is described by its hue, value and saturation.

Hue is the word for what we usually refer to as color. A hue, such as red, refers to a specific wavelength of light. Hues range from red to violet and the full spectrum of colors or hues can be seen in a rainbow.
