I am having difficulty with 3 phrases between asterisks in the following sentence.

Nous participons au maintien, au développement de l'économie, dans une *relation de proximité*, grâce à une *chargée de mission économie* qui apporte conseils, aides aux entreprises, aux *porteurs de projets.*

working closely with you through our (local?) special officer for economic projects, who is there to advise and help businesses and project coordinators

Sorry, I know you didn't want the whole thing but it seemed an easier way to put these suggestions forward. Maybe "proximité" means physically close as well, ie they understand local problems? which is why I suggest slipping a "local" in there somewhere.
