Caracas Tapaculo (Scytalopus caracae) Bird

Explanation:
Black-throated Spinetail Synallaxis castanea. Example 1: This species and Caracas Tapaculo Scytalopus caracae have confused me for quite some time: they occur in exactly the same habitat and one seems to come to play-back of the other species. I now am quite sure example 1 is the song of S. caracae

This is the family of churrines, huet-huet, gallitos and tapacolas. Some of these species we have seen be to them calls gallitos copetones and Turks.

Spanish= Churrín de Caracas, English= Caracas Tapaculo Scientific Name= Scytalopus caracae http://www.damisela.com/zoo/ave/pajaros/tyranni/rhinocryptid...

Hope this helps.

Bye
