Explanation:
Personal experience, I had a company in Quebec and in the US, but I looked it up in Collins Robert and it says there "registered office", however in US English you don't call it that.

registered office (le retour!!!)

Explanation:
As your text indicates, the siège social and main office are not to be confused. In your example, they are in the one and the same place, but this is not always so. As your text uses two different terms, you need to find some wya of distinguishing them too - if only to say that they are in the same place! It is a very specific term with a specific meaning.

Whilst I do not know which country your target reader is in, the GDT (Canada) would appear to support "registered office".

As to the next term, then "corporate headquarters", "main place of business"
may work well.

I'm not being awkward, just trying to help you get it right!

head office
Syn.registered office

Canada vs. Rest of the World

Explanation:
I must strongly disagree with nikscot; not so much about his thorough research, but about his seeming "equalization" of the UK and Canada.

If you are after a translation for siege social, then you should go with "corporate domicile" or "seat of the company". The principale place d'affaires would be the company or corporate head office or headquarters.

registered office, head office

Explanation:
According to the GDT, the above are synonymous. According to the official bi-lingual Canada Inustry site, "siège sociale" can be translated by "registered office".

Whilst I am not Canadian and have no CANADIAN legal training, the source is reliable.

Some legislation from Canada’s Industry site.

1 - CANADA BUSINESS CORPORATIONS ACT
INCORPORATION KIT

http://strategis.ic.gc.ca/SSG/cs01001e.html

* How Do You Fill Out Form 1, Articles of Incorporation?

Item 2, Place of Registered Office

The place in Canada where the registered office is to be situated should be described in terms of a broad municipal definition rather than a specific street address (for example, Montreal Urban Community, in the Province of Quebec). Then, at a later time, if the corporation decides to move its registered office within the same general place (i.e. within the same regional municipality, town or city), it may not be necessary to file Articles of Amendment (Form 4), which would have to be duly authorized by shareholders, and to pay the $200.00 amendment filing fee.

* How Do You Fill Out Form 3, Notice of Registered Office, and Form 6, Notice of Directors?

Administrative Forms

[...]

The corporation's registered office address must be a specific civic address within the place specified in the Articles of Incorporation (Form 1). Please note that a post office box number is not sufficient.

* What Proof of Facts Must You Submit with the Articles of Incorporation?

Also remember that each incorporator must sign the Articles of Incorporation, and an incorporator must sign the Notice of Registered Office and the Notice of Directors. Although an obvious item, this is too frequently overlooked, thus making the application for incorporation deficient and therefore not acceptable until the deficiency is corrected.
