French term or phrase: A letter I got from a Friend
I recieved an e-mail from a friend that I tried to translate, but I have only had French for a year and I couldn't understand all of it. If you could please translate it into English, I would really appreciate it. I changed the names to protect the innocent! (Got that of an old tv show)
Hello Kelcey Marie
A bientot Jacque.

Explanation:
I'm talking to you in French today, because you can understand it, and then my mother will be typing the message because I've hurt my fore arm. My surname is Fourayon, my first name is Jacques, I'm 14, I was born on 28/02/86 at Chambray les Tours. My father is born in the same month as you, the 26 november, so you are Sagittarius. It's a pity you can't come to France. I speak 3 languages, French, English and Spanish. The language I prefer is English. My favorite sport is basket ball. I like different types of films such as Taxi, The Visitors (french film), Gozzila etc... I gave your email address to Pierre. For the others, I forgot to ask them for their address. For the question you asked me 'mon petit chou' it's a nice friendly phrase meaning friendship, love, a personnal sentiment and not a vegetable. I'll remember to tell Karla to take snapshots for you. I've still got the month of june to work then 4im on holiday for july and august. Youpi ! I love holidays. I was playing the idiot on sunday basket ball with friends and I fell and hurt my fore arm. The hospital immobilised it and I cannot use my hand for a fortnight, after we'll see how it's healed. It's not very nice weather at Loches, luckily it's not raining but it's not very warm. Say hello to everyone from St Mary's I miss them a lot. I'll be glad for next year when I see you all again, big kisses from France. See you soon. Please try to answer in French to see how you get along.
