French to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Real Estate
French term or phrase:communique
I'm translating a real estate report and this appears underneath details of a property:
! Ne communique plus sur le prix
I'm not sure if this means that the price should not be shown or that the price cannot be negotiated?
Louise, either Colin's or rkillings' answers could be correct. You need to know if this is a comment: "(IL/ELLE) ne communique plus sur le prix (cf rkillings) OR an instruction to someone in "tu" form: "Ne communique plus sur les prix" (cf Colin).
This is for a marketing report for a real estate company.
Under the heading 'LES OFFRES CONCURRENTES (INDIRECTES)' is a list of properties with various information such as '18 200 m² de bureaux neufs, Non divisible, Disponibilité septembre 2009 etc' and underneath one of the properties is '! Ne communique plus sur le prix' written in Italics as if it is a note to somebody.
As above, we need to know who the report is addressed to and whether the price is mentioned at all in the report. e.g. if this is just a rough, handwritten note it might mean something like that the vendor hasn't yet given adequate price information.
