French term or phrase: pages redactionelles noires
This phrase refers to papers published in connection with a medical conference. I realise "pages redactionnelles" means editorial pages, but what is the sense of "noires" here, please? Thanks for any help!!

After pondering this a bit, and searching for various meanings of *noir*, it looks like this would fit in theparadigm *au noir*, meaning *under the table*

My husband is an editor, and he receives "blue pages", the color of the sheets before they are sent for final printing. This is more final than a rough draft, but errors can still be caught before they go to press.
