French term or phrase:anticipations sur futurs FPR
A list of the main functions of a software package on financial institutions:
"anticipations sur futurs FPR" Does "anticipations" mean "advances" in this case? does anyone know what FPR stands for. Thanks.
Thanks a lot for your help. Those abbreviations throw me every time. Most of them don't seem to be in the dictionary. Any idea on an abbreviation website/dictionary? Thanks again! 4 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
Generally, one would translate "anticipation" as "expectations," where finances are concerned, but this looks to me like Termium's suggestion of "guestimate" (or, preferable, "guesstimate") would work even better:
English:Trade and Finance (formerly XBF)
