French term or phrase: to work at a pressure of 5 bars
Cette machine travaille à une pression de 5 bars.

this equipment works at a pressure of 5 bars OR to a pressure of 5 bars.

Je me pose la même question en ce qui concerne la température.
To work at a temperature of 100°C OR to a temparature of 100°C.

Explanation:
but I don't think "works" would be the right word used pour "travaille" (not in North-American English anyway). The word normally used in this context would be -- I believe -- "operates"

"to run (or operate) at a pressure of 5 bars."

Explanation:
This is a high pressure!

"To" has a meaning to "going toward", "vers" in French. That would be "travaille vers une pression...", "travaille vers une température...") In fact, it would be more appropriately "works its way to a pressure of 5 bars" (in French "monte jusqu'à une pression de 5 bars.) Not quite the same.

"à" is translated with "at". A machine "runs" or "operates" in English. "Operates" is more formal.

You would use "operates to a pressure of 5 bars" if you meant "travaille jusqu'à une pression de 5 bars."

Same with temperature "operates to a pressure of 5 bars" is "travaille jusqu'à une pression de 5 bars."

(In fact, in English you would more appropriately say "operates up to a pressure ...)

Well, I hope this is not too convoluted and that it makes sense to you. Good luck!
