French term or phrase: applicatif
dans le contecte:

Département ASP (applications service provider) chargé de la
maintenance des applicatifs dont la compagnie XY assure l'hébergement (site
web vitrine + site applicatif (base de donnée inclu)

Donc applicatifs au pluriel et "site applicatif"
..
English translation:"Site applicatif" = "dynamic web site", "applicatifs" probably = "application software" or maybe
Explanation:
or maybe "applicative sofware"

In the text you sent, the expressions "site web vitrine" and "site applicatif" are used to describe the two different ways one can build a website. Here is something I found that pretty well gives the same juxtapposition of "dynamic" vs. "static":

"Dynamic is... Change. Alive. Interactive.

In a way, the internet is dynamic. It is constantly changing according to customer needs. It has taken on a life in itself. Artificial intelligence!

But that isn't the dynamic that Web Developers are referring to when they describe the internet. Dynamic to us is interactivity, automated, and action. Think of dynamic in regards to it's opposite - static. Web pages used to be static. Each web page contained links to other web pages. A page was a page . No life. This is still a standard. (html)

Database integration, Java, Active X, Scripting all allow web pages to be dynamic. More like a program you can run. With these, you can play a game on a web page, collect customer information, use a shopping cart, take orders, make an email newsletter, get the customer involved! The possibilities are endless because dynamic actions can be written for anything. Look at what your computer can do. Same idea extended to the internet..."

As for "applicatifs", I think this is short for "logiciels applicatifs".

See for example the following site:
http://www.inria.fr/rapportsactivite/Ra-Tech96/moyens-info/n...

"Techniquement, on distingue principalement les logiciels applicatifs (en
relation directe avec les utilisateurs) et les logiciels systèmes (en relation
directe avec le matériel et qui permettent le fonctionnement des logiciels
applicatifs)."
http://www.mailhol.com/pub/ipso/T00_GNU/DIFF.HTM

" Analysis, design and realization of software applications, delivery of technical advice and applicative software. "

This therefore doesn't seem to be exactly the same thing as "application software". But then, see below.

Here are a few more examples of its use:

"Computer programs and projects

Valkoviæ M, Èišiæ D. PLANBASE applicative software with documentation,Ordered by: ITU International Telecommunications Union Geneve "

"The Domonet decoder as well as its
applicative software have all been developed by our teams of engineers which means that COM One
services has resources and skills required to offer companies products which meet the specific expectations
of their customers."
http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:www.com1-services.com/u...

I can find many other examples, but they all seem to be part of often badly translated sites. I am therefore not quite sure whether this is a proper term. I think that "application software" might be a better translation. Or maybe more simply "applications".
