French term or phrase: exidu
I have been unable to find any explanation of this word. It designates some sort of discharge exit for waste water. Context is drainage of water penetrating into windows.

exodu: vertex ....or exode: mass exit??
Explanation:
Yeap. A tricky one alright. Two suggestions(sorry, can't help myself). First: I've found an English link (link 1) talking about flight itineraries and routes. Happens that some of these flights pass by a point called "exodu". No explanation but a map of a plane route over some French locations. In this route there is a sudden change of direction and it is precisely this point which is called "exodu"...and it ain't a town or airport. The route line then forms an angle, then the "exodu" is the vertex of that angle. Could it be the angle of the window or the pipe or whatever? Not likely? Then try option two: typo. Actually "exode" (départ en masse). Do you think the water can "départ en masse"? Hope this helps. I'd say it's the typo, otherwise I'm sure you would have got more answers. Tried...good luck :-)

Ce n'est pas évident; et ce n'est pas une erreur de frappe.
J'ai fini par mettre simplement outlet en signalant au client que je ne connaissais pas ce terme.
Toutefois, le fichier PDF que vous avez indiqué m'intrigue.

Merci

exudate / exudation / oozes / oozing / leaking / leaks

Explanation:
??????????????????????

Has to be "exsudat" -- action d'exsuder = dripping, oozing

...Although "exudate = exsudat" is usually used in the field of medicine.
