Thanks for the additional reference. I knew the term was "write protect" for computer disks, but I was not sure if the same applied to other media such as optical disks. Especially since other dictionaries, such as the Routledge give "protection contre l'ecriture" for write protect and this text specifically said "protection d'enregistrement".
