French to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering
French term or phrase:en complement offre
La gamme se voit simplifiée par abandon de la double motorisation à 260ch en complement offre 320 et 370cv.
Any ideas on how to turn this?
Explanation: I am French, I am not surprised that you get trouble with this translation if you are not French: there is probably a typographic mistake that makes the construction incorrect.
One should rather read
260 ch et en complément offre...
This construction is correct and avoids the repetition of "la gamme" which is the real subjet of "offre".
The remark of mister Denoncourt iss correct. You should translate "gamme" by "product line" rather than "range".
My feeling as French native
