French term or phrase:Cinetic
I'm proofreading a technical document that has been translated from French to English. Would you agree that the word cinetic in the following phrase should actually be kinetic? Development of solar/ cinetic (vibration) charger for batteries
Thanks for helping. Rita, I'd love to post the French phrase but this is a document that has already been translated and the client has lost the original French version. I expect you'll be hearing from me again several times before the end of the day.
Explanation: On trouve souvent l'orthographe "cinetic" mais je pense que c'est une déformation du français ou d'une autre langue (je n'ai pas trouvé cette forme dans le Webster ni dans le Thésaurus Collins)
