French term or phrase: lame de savon, point de verre, en parois
lame de savon is an actual instrument. i found a website with a schematic but i need an equivalent in english please.http://www.ac-nancy-metz.fr/enseign/physique/Tp-phys/ point de verre=glass point? and finally a suggestion for how to translate en parois.

microscope slide of soap
Explanation:
Eurodicautom suggests "microscope slide" or "slide" as an alternative for "lame". I visited the web-site address you stated, and judging by the diagram shown, this would appear to be a very likely translation.

Secondly, I don't see anything wrong with "glass point".

However, I would need more context to be able to help you with "en parois".

I gave you a 3 because I used the other translator's suggestion for en parois. I appreciate clearing up the lame de savon term for me. Sometimes a word for word translation is exactly what is called for. I wish I could have divided up the points.
