Explanation: I did a search using Google for porte-cuve, and came up with a site giving information in both French and English. (see below for address) There are other links at Google as well.
Also, I found translations for porte-cuvette at GDT - either a pan holder if the field is agriculture, or a bowl stand in the field of medicine.
