French to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Telecom(munications)
French term or phrase: affaire
(Kind of relates to the last question)

"Affaire" is used as the heading in the index of this helpfile for a telecommunications application.
I have translated in throughout as "project". Is this acceptable in each case?
Another example:
Toutes les opérations relative à une affaire courante ne sont disponibles que lorsqu'une affaire est ouverte.

matter

Explanation:
I believe this might be a better choice since it does not imply an actual "project" but rather a given subject.
