Pour certains plastiques le film ne se décolle pas de la capsule. Dans ce cas, il faut réaliser le film directement sur la lame.

Polyphénylène sulfone éther: gonfle beaucoup dans le chloroforme, se ramollit mais n'est pas vraiment soluble; dans ce cas, faire le film à l'aide de la spatule sur une lame.

Evaporer le chloroforme à temperature ambiante ou sur la plaque chauffante. Récupérer à l'aide de la spatule l'extrait sec pour le déposer sur une lame. Réaliser le spectre infrarouge.
