Contexte:

"... l'ensemble des logements destinés aux esclaves d'une fazenda ou d'une maison de maître."

Fazenda kommt ursprünglich aus dem Brasilianischen/Portugiesischen und bedeutet so viel wie "Farm". Der Text wurde wohl aus der Wikipedia entnommen.

Soll ich im Deutschen nun Fazenda auch stehen lassen?

Explanation:
Landgut in Brasilien (Gr. Duden). "Hacienda" würde man mit den hispanophonen (südamerikanischen) Ländern in Verbindung bringen. Daher Fazenda behalten, wenn es sich tatsächlich um Brasilien handelt!

Genau, ich weiß allerdings nicht, ob Fazenda genau so geläufig ist wie Hazienda. Aber egal, soll man doch nachschlagen ;)
