Il s'agit d'une brochure touristique, ici particulièrement de lavoirs :

Au début du XIXème siècle plusieurs facteurs vont concourir à l’amélioration du confort des laveuses :
- l’autorisation pour les communes forestières de vendre les chênes destinés à la marine royale dit « quart de réserve »

Existe-t-il un terme approprié en allemand ?

Asker: Diesen Link hatte ich auch gefunden, aber wie Wiebke schon sagt, Schonung ist etwas anderes und "Reserveviertel".... Aber Danke schon mal fürs Suchen...

neutral  Schtroumpf: Das Reserveviertel ist wohl eine übersetzerische Neuschöpfung (lothringisch) und die Schonung ist eigentlich etwas anderes, kein Stammholz.
