Explanation:
Il verbo "Engager", in questo caso, può essere tradotto "Intavolare"

( IL Nuovo Boch, Zanichelli, pag.384)nel caso venga usato in un

contesto economico. E' più comune "Intavolare una trattativa", ma

sempre il "Boch", per "Societè", mi riporta "Accordo"; e come ultima

possibilità(Ib., pag.922).
