French term or phrase: herbes de provence

yamina
finas hierbas provenzales
Explanation:
In Spanish to distinguish both meanings of "hierba" which are "grass" and "herb", we use the word in plural and add the adjective "finas" to mean the ones used for seasoning food.
Therefore you may find cheese, chips, etc .."a las finas hierbas".
It sounds nicer and more familiar also, to use "provenzales" than "de Provenza" to a native consumer.
I hope it helps you to chose the most appropiate option.
Best wishes,

Hierbas aromáticas. (ENG) Sweet herbs (fine herbs); (FRA) Fines herbes (herbes de Provence). (http://personal.redestb.es/doest/h.htm)

Hierbas de Provenza
Con ellas les proponemos todos los senderos del Mediodía: verdaderas hierbas salvajes, que crecen bajo el sol, en nuestros secos terrenos en los que desarrollan mejor su perfume, para aromatizar sus asados y contribuir a una cocina más ligera, más sabrosa y por encima de todo más digestible.
