I can find so many possible translations of the word Bund in various dictionaries, but I'm at a bit of a loss about what is really meant by this entire sentence:

- Über einen Bund wird auf der Innenseite der HS-Struktur der Flange Ground Power positioniert und gespannt.
My first stab at it:
- Use a lap on the inside of the H/C structure to position and tension the Flange Ground Power.

... is what I am picturing when I read this text, but I'm sure someone else has a more technical answer for this.

I believe the source sentence is meant to be read this way:

Über einen Bund wird (auf der Innenseite der HS-Struktur der Flange) Ground Power positioniert und gespannt. -- i.e. not "flange ground power"

So, maybe something like, "Ground power is (re)positioned/adjusted and tightened/tautened inside the H/C configuration of the flange by way of a strap."

Asker: Good point, that does make more sense. A little, at least. I'm a bit puzzled as to what "Ground Power" may be, or how it could be positioned, adjusted or tightened.
