German term or phrase: Einbauwirkungsgrad
I'm thinking this could be "design efficiency" or "inherent efficiency".
In the context, it is adversely affected by the air flow being accelerated at the nose of the fuselage.
This appears in a patent

Hi, Ronald. Thanks for your answer. In the end I used "inherent efficiency" although I was tempted to use "design efficiency". I wanted to get the meaning of the "Einbau" part of the word and I don't believe the efficiency of installation or incorporation was intended as suggested by Andres in this instance, although I believe it was correct for the examples quorted.

The ***incorporation efficiency*** of the drive is negatively affected, as the air is accelerated at the fuselage nose and now this increased flow rate determines the air resistance on the hull surface.

To achieve a good ***installation efficiency*** while the jet described properties, the ducted propeller is integrated in the fuselage.
