social occasion Explanation: I don't envy you this one at all, Dawn (-: - As Kim says, there's no way we'd use communicative in this context in English. The first word that sprang to my mind was 'social' - but then I got sort of stuck for what to follow it with, meeting-point, event, opportunity, outlet, facility, would all be possible.
