Own equipment Explanation: Following an official translation sheet printed in the "Handessblatt" about the balance structure of German companies acc. to par. 266 HGB. There the term "technical equipment" is the translation of "Technische Anlagen" in the "Sachanlagen" category, which suggests the above translation. Handelsblatt vom 18..9.95. Nr. 180 |

company-manufactured assets Explanation: Also possible are "self-provided plant/equipment/(fixed)assets" or "self-constructed plant/equipment/(fixed) assets". These are all from Hamblock/Wessels "Großwörterbuch Wirtschaftsenglisch". In my opinion "company-manufactured" does the best job of making it exactly clear who built the machines and "assets" is better than "plant" or "equipment" because your context concerns the financial aspects of the equipment not the production aspects. |
