Some queries on price terminology:
anteilig pro Std (changes made to a document are charged in this way).
Dienstleistung nach Rechnungserhalt rein netto zahlbar. On receipt of the invoice only the net cost is payable ???
With regard to expenses, extra costs will be made for Kontaktaufwand - any ideas on this?

English translation:see below
Explanation:
anteilig pro Std - prorated on an hourly basis

Dienstleistung nach Rechnungserhalt rein netto zahlbar. -- rein netto seems a bit redundant, but I think what the mean is that the invoice is payable IN FULL upon receipt (i.e. no discounts taken for prompt payment).
My mother owned a retail store, and she would customarily take discounts when she paid invoices immediately (not after 30 days).

Kontaktaufwand - sounds to me like the company will charge the customer if they have to contact the customer, e.g. for clarification. Maybe a phrase like "if further inquiries are required, they will be charged at..." might work for you.

pro rata

Explanation:
anteilig = pro rata, the term prorateable is also in use,so anteilig pro Stunde would be prorateable per hour.
rein netto zahlbar means net payable without deduction (e.g. of any discounts for early payment).
the extra cost for Kontaktaufwand means that any customer liaison is chargeable in addition.

Explanation:
anteilig pro Stunde=proportional per hour or in proportion to the hour. The
Latin term pro rata is used in German,
but not really in English.
"rein netto zahlbar" bedeutet, dass die
Firma kein Skonto bei sofortiger Bezahlung gibt. Die Uebersetzung "only the net" koennte bedeuten, dass etwaige
anfallende Steuern wie Mehrwertsteuer
etc. nicht zu begleichen sind. Deshalb
ist es besser den Satz im Englischen
umzustellen:
All invoices for services rendered are
payable upon receipt.

prorated

Explanation:
Prorated is a very common term in the U.S. used for exactly what you describe. Examples are the insurance industry, or the phone industry where long distance charges are prorated, meaning that they are calculated as parts of (in this example) a minute.

Apparently, "pro rata" IS used in English, as well, albeit limited to the insurance industry.

Rein netto refers to the amount payable without taxes. A translation could read 'strictly net' or 'net payable'.

As for Kontaktaufwand, I believe that refers to the expenditures for contacting the client(s), so I imagine these costs to consist of phone, fax, and mail expenses, in other words 'incidentals for contacting client(s)'.
