German term
./. (dot, slash, dot)
German to English
Bus/Financial
loan figures
The sign dot, slash, dot or:
./. (if the ProZ site will recognize these characters) appears at the left-hand edge of a table on 'Liquiditaetsplaene'under the heading 'Total Borrowing':
"Gesamtverschuldung...........
./. mittelfristige Inanspruchn.................
./. Guthaben.............."
I understand the meaning of the words but not the symbols dot, slash, dot. Could it be "of which" ./. = davon?
or versus/vis a vis?
I know it's not percentage as the figures that follow are 50,000. Under the heading "Ueberdeckung" (= Surplus Cover?) it appears again:
"current assets ./. current liabilities"
Apprec. help from the number crunchers among you.

minus or less
"./." is the German commercial "minus" sign; depending on the context, I would use "minus" or "less".
