German term or phrase: Rohbauarbeiten
Context: Erweiterung F&E Gebäude
The Roharbeiten include the following sub-categories:
Baustelleneinrichtung, Verbauten, Erdarbeiten, Entwässerung, Stahlbeton, Mauerwerk, Abdichtungen, Betonfertigwandpl., Nachweisarbeiten

What I found in dictionaries for Rohbau is bare brickwork and shell. Does anyone have a better idea, maybe roughing work?

Civilworks

Explanation:
On second thought, I looked at the different tasks to be completed and thought that maybe civilworks would also be a possibility. See:

Not bad ...

Explanation:
... for the other question section. But I would suggest "civil works" with the space in between.

I checked out that website, and I would say that "civil works" would be a better answer for "Verbauten" than "Roharbeiten".

Civil and structural work

Explanation:
Going by the examples in the text, we are looking at civil work (before any wall goes up) and structural work (when the walls goe up).

Shell, carcass, external structure

Explanation:
I believe that the term being used varies with the region, e.g. different in England, Canada or USA.
In northern US, like Ohio, external structure, as opposed internal finishing, wound sond OK. The internal finishing would include drywall hanging, painting, floor coverings and electrical fixtures.
The ending works for ...arbeiten on the other hand sounds british to us. Example Gaswerk (German), gas works (British), gas company (US).
