agree  CathyBermingham: I would agree with "good fortune fish". The Mandarin word for fish (yu) is also a homonym for "surplus," fish decorations are popular during the Lunar New Year Festival as fish is thought to bring good luck/fortune.

Wenn Glückskeks "fortune cookie" heißt, warum sollte man nicht die Parallele ziehen und Glückfisch "fortune fish" nennen?
