This is a course name in a report card for a Swiss "Orientierungsschule", exactly what subject is meant here? I don't think it means Life Skills (Lebenskunde), Home Economics (Hauswirtschaft), Wirtschaftskunde (Economics) because these subjects are also listed in the same document. Various fine and applied arts courses (bildende Kunst, angewandtes/technisches Gestalten) are also listed separately. Is just "Planning" OK? It sounds like something that's taught in Swiss schools for which there isn't any exact US equivalent.

I know that in some German schools they teach how pupils can learn - the methods they can use. They can find out if it is better for them to learn with our without music etc. But I don't know exactly about Switzerland.

Could also be Career Planning - sounds very logic! (Much more, indeed!)

Comment: "I think this is it, but used "study skills" instead because it is a more common term in the US. And it is a course because a subjective grade (i.e., pass/fail) was assigned to it."
