suitable for framing?
It sounds to me like a bulk order of diploma "blanks" (endless sheet for printing, with envelope, etc.) on which graduates' names are then printed by the school. Could it simply mean this is a "fancy" style/size, like A4/suitable for framing?
Look at page 2 here:

They offer a Taufurkunde in Schmuckform ("suitable for framing"? could it be?) and one for Familienstammbuch (I assume not so fancy, and in a smaller format).

Illuminated
This is a term which is generally used for mediaeval documents, and there is a possibility that it might apply here. The definition of an "illuminated" document is "to decorate (a manuscript) with elaborate designs, and initial letters in gold, silver, or bright colours". Even if this is not selected, it might be worth adding it in to the glossary, with an appropriate note.

: new to me, but seems to be the correct term, though there's always the danger that it'll be misunderstood (beleuchtet)
