German term or phrase: HF-Kassette
"Der A/D Wandler ist durch eine HF Kasette abgeschirmt."
I think this involves a typo and should be HF- Kassette. Could this just be called a high frequency cassette or cartridge?
Thanks for any help, Beth

English translation:HF shielding (OR screening) enclosure
Explanation:
an A/D converter is sensitive to interference, so in high-resolution circuits or circuits that must work in a 'noixy' environment, it may need to be shielded. The cassette is this case is just a small metallic box. Cassette or cartridge are incorrect, and unfortunately the previous web ref is bogus.
BTW, 'shielded' is US and 'screened' is UK.

high frequency cartridge

Explanation:
Found nothing on "high frequency cassette", only 2 hits on "high frequency cartridge" (see URL below).

I'd agree that the German is probably misspelled, a Google search on "HF Kassette" yielded quite a few hits.

HTH!
