"Für ein Rotorblatt muss die Geometrie sowohl den aerodynamischen Anforderungen als auch den Anforderungen aus der Struktur genügen. Heftige Geometrieänderungen führen zu erhöhten Beanspruchungen in der Struktur. (...) Messungen in statischen Blatttests bestätigten, dass nur ***geringe Beanspruchungsüberhöhungen*** vorliegen.
Die aerodynamischen Anforderungen wurden durch die Leistungskurve bestätigt."

dict.cc suggests "excessive increase" for "Überhöhung", but a "low, excessive increase" sounds like a contradiction in terms. Can anyone help?
