Explanation:
The way they are expressing what they are trying to say is really complicated, but although the sentence may still not flow properly, this is how I would do it: Errors, that may put results, contained in the auditor's professionally given opinion, at question, authorize him to revoke his given opinion towards third parties also.

In this case you should probably translate "tunlichst" even with "must": I think the recommendation is meant stronger than strong.
