German term or phrase: Neuzustand beinhalten
"Die Garantie beinhaltet keine 10 Jahre Neuzustand. Bei Schäden jeglicher Art, verursacht durch Selbstabholung, Eigenmontage, Bedienungsfehler und Veränderungen von Montagezustand oder Verbrauchsmaterialien, wird keine Haftung übernommen."

From a 10-year guarantee for a furniture company. I can't make any sense whatsoever out of the sentence, "Die Garantie beinhaltet keine 10 Jahre Neuzustand". What on earth is meant by the expression, "Neuzustand beinhalten"? TIA for any light you can shed on this extremely strange phrase.

The 10-year guarantee does not include (damage from) normal wear and tear
Explanation:
IMHO the original has a slightly abrasive tone about it that is hard to convey. I think Nicola is absolutely right and this is how I would translate it.
