German term or phrase: Stellungnahme gym
In the title of an address by a Swiss manager who is giving his views about how a certain project is progressing. The title begins "Stellungnahme gym zu ... ". I am completely mystified by "gym". Is it an abbreviation, a colloquial term, or simply a typo? If the latter, what might have been intended? Any help would be appreciated.

Jim

Explanation:
These may only be initials. On the other hand, if a native German speaker were working with an American or Englishman named "Jim", they may misspell that name in haste as "Gym". Unlikely, but a possibility. There is no good way to render the English "J" sound in German.

disagree  BirgitBerlin: native Germans would never ever misspel Jim as Gym, as it would be pronounces as "güm" and has no sound-resemblence with "Jim"!
