German to English translations [PRO]
Art/Literary - Journalism / Kafka
German term or phrase: Zeitungs-Schnurren
This is from a section on the "Prager Tagblatt" newspaper:

"Ein Heer berühmter Namen,
Käuze und Originale wirkte mit, von Egon Erwin
Kisch, der hier als Volontär erste Journalistenluft
atmete, über Friedrich Torberg, der einige der komischsten
**Zeitungs-Schnurren** in seiner "Tante Jolesch"
für die Zukunft bewahrte, bis zu Kafkas Freund Max
Brod, der als langjähriger Theater- und Musikkritiker
seine Zeitung gar in dem Roman "Rebellische Herzen"
verewigte."

TIA for any suggestions - I can't quite get my head around the idea. I presume it means the "Käuze und Originale", but I'm not sure.
