ff. CC

English translation: explanation to follow

German term or phrase: ff. CC
Again to my question regarding ff. CC

It refers to the divorce of 2 Portuguese nationals which live in Germany. Divorce took place in Germany where they also got married. But of course there is a paragraph saying:
Die Scheidung richtet sich gemäss Art.17 Abs.1, 14 Abs.1 Nr.1 EGBGB nach materiellem portugiesischem Recht, da beide Parteien die Portugiesische Staatsangehörigkeit besitzen.

To further clarify the issue I must tell you that I am translating to Portuguese not to English but am asking for an English translation as most of my very few colleagues working in DE-PT are off at the moment.
Sorry for the confusion!

Here is the context again:
Ehescheidung
Urteil
Tatbestand und Entscheidungsgründe:
1. Zur Scheidung
...
Die Scheidung war deshalb gemäss Art.1775 ff. CC auszusprechen.

Thank you very much again!
