Salzburg. Bei einem geschlachteten Rind wurde am Donnerstag, im Schlachthof Salzburg-Bergheim der Verdacht auf eine BSE-Erkrankung festgestellt. Am Freitag hat sich der BSE-Verdacht erhärtet. Das befallene Tier stammt von einem Betrieb aus Seekirchen. Während Proben des geschlachteten Tieres nach Innsbruck und von dort weiter nach Mödling zur genauen Untersuchung gebracht wurden, ist im Schlachthof der Alarmplan für BSE-Fälle ausgelöst worden. Der Schlachthof wurde gesperrt, alle potentiell kontaminierten Schlachttiere und Fleisch-Chargen wurden zur weiteren Entsorgung aus dem Schlachthof entfernt. Nach einer Desinfektion gemäß BSE-Alarmplan konnte der Schlachthof in Bergheim heute wieder in Betrieb gehen

agree  Bjørn Anthun: why not? I'd say 'batches of (cattle) meat' or '(cattle) meat batches', or I think you could even do without the 'batch(es)' and just say 'potentially contaminated cattle meat'
