Optimisation Explanation: I agree with Natalie. We do tend to spell these sorts of words with an 's' as oppose to the US 'z'. HTH. Claire |

optimization measures Explanation: I'm not sure, whether there are any differences between the two, but optimization measures is used much more often as evident from a simple search with your favorite search engine. My guess is that this is because of the closer phonetic and word stem relation of the noun optimization and the verb to optimize, so it just sounds 'more right'.
