German term or phrase: Nuth
Hello,

In an old research document on hemodialysis (around 1970), in a table entitled: "Ergebnisse der Hämodialysebehandlung bei verschiedenen Intoxikationen", in the column entitled "Substanz", Nuth is one of the entries (amongst others such as "Knollenblätterpilz", "Supracid", and "CCl4").

I have tried looking at this from many different angles (name of a drug, latin expression for "nothing", chemical formula for something...) but I haven't been able to find anything.

Any help would be enormously appreciated.
