German term

umgipsen

German to English Medical Plaster Casts
Talking about the advantages of a type of plaster cast for patients:

"Kein Umgipsen mehr notwendig".

I can't find anything for "umgipsen" in the resources that I have available to me, and I'm having trouble thinking of an elegant way to express this in English. ("Plastering around" doesn't sound quite right.) Hope someone here might have a better idea. TIA for your help.
