"Citizens' room" doesn't sound right, but I'm not sure what we'd call it in English.
In Altdorf bei Landshut wurde dringend ein Mehrzweckgebäude für unterschiedliche Gemeinde-Einrichtungen benötigt. Inzwischen ist der von Regierungsbaumeister Gerald Püttmann gestaltete Neubau fertig: Er beherbergt nicht nur einen Bürgersaal, der durch viel Holz eine einladende Atmosphäre schafft, sondern auch einen Kinderhort, eine Schule sowie eine Bücherei.
