Vor Außenboxen kann man meist auch einen Auslauf anlegen.

"Access to a loose box is either by way of a stable door direct from the yard or by a stable door and passage-way within the stable. In the former case, the door ought to be in two parts so that the upper portion can be hooked back and left open, allowing the horse to look out over the lower portion...
Grilles are sometimes fastened across the open top half of the door to prevent the horse jumping out, biting at passers-by or 'weaving'..."
