Quality Assurance Document
Appears in a short quality assurance document. "Geprüft am [date] von VL".
So, "Checked on [date] by VL".
I'm wondering what VL might stand for. The L part probably means a "Leiter", as it stands to reason a manager or other senior person would check a QA document. So that leaves the V. Vertriebsleiter? Any other possibilities? Thanks in advance for your help.

Vertriebsleiter
Rowan, your guess seems OK, provided the QA document has something to do with sales or marketing.

Comment: "I wound up checking back with the client on this one, and VL does indeed stand for Vertriebsleiter! So thank you for that John, and well done! Thanks also to the others who contributed - good guesses which could all be right depending on the context. But in this case, Vertriebsleiter is it."
