German term or phrase: Liegehalle
Something to do with recreation/leisure? A hall for lying around in?
Julie
English translation:see below
Explanation:
Muret-Sanders suggests "open-air wing" for Liegehalle eines Sanatoriums.
What came to mind immediately were these large, solarium-type rooms in a German "Bad" or "Kurort". The facilities often include a Kurhaus mit Liegehalle, a very large, airy room with lots of lounge chairs in which you can rest after having taken the waters.
Maybe "Solarium" would work for your purposes?

solarium

Explanation:
Support for Uel's answer. Uel's dictionary is newer, bigger, better or something than mine because my Kl. Muret-Sanders Langenscheidt does not mention "open-air wing" at all but does give "solarium" as the translation for "Liegehalle".
