blister suction eliminator
Explanation:
In paper-making the term Blasensauger appears to be a trademark of Voith Paper. The product pages of Voith don't appear to make any English reference to the product. Maybe Voith have still to think of an English name for the Blasensauger.
If all this is true, then we are left with inventing something ourselves! Blister suchtion eliminator is my first shot!

Notes to answerer
Asker: Yes I will have to consult with client about the trademark issue. I may leave the name in German with description in English. Blister eliminator/reducer sounds good, agree that the sucking part sounds strange.

Asker: Yes, blister eliminator sounds about right. Apparently the item is sold overseas under the German name, so this will just be an explanation in brackets. Thanks to all for input.

neutral  Peter Downes: Roy, a logical deduction for a word that may not exist but sucking blisters sounds very strange in a technical description.e

-> Yeah, that´s the problem of sucking generally.
