Science - Physics / Expert opinion on a ship collision based on rudder failure involving a hydraulic valve opening which it shouldn't have

In the case of intensely attenuated [or damped] elastic systems, the case of resonance does not lead to any clear excess elevation of the amplitudes, so that the latter are orientated towards those of the shipbuilding structures (in this case, the stern section of the vessel).
The excitation frequency band of the vessel vibrations coming into consideration is, at approx. 1-10 Hz, very low, viewed from an absolute perspective.
High levels of acceleration therefore also result in ***long distances ???***.
(On the other hand, at 200 Hz an acceleration of 10 g only leads to a ??? of 0.06 mm)

English translation:large deflection
Explanation:
